A real home for young people starting life on their Own
We get it, leaving care is scary
Picture this: you're 18, you've been in care most of your life, and suddenly you're expected to know how to pay bills, cook proper meals, and navigate the world completely on your own. It's overwhelming, right? That's exactly why we started the MUMZ Project.

We're not just another housing provider. We're people who genuinely care about what happens to young adults when they age out of the care system. Because honestly, the statistics are heartbreaking, and we've seen too many brilliant young people struggle simply because they didn't have the right support at the right time.

The reality we're facing together
Let's be honest about what's really happening out there:
-
Nearly half of care leavers become homeless within two years
-
While almost half of all young people go to university, only 6% of care leavers get that chance
-
Three out of four care leavers struggle with their mental health
-
Finding stable work becomes incredibly difficult when you're dealing with housing insecurity

Sure, there are laws saying councils should help, but the reality is there just aren't enough resources to go around. That's where we come in.
